Samsung has finally announced the Galaxy S8 and S8+ launch date in India. The South Korean giant has tweeted the launch date in India saying “India, get ready to #UnboxYourPhone! Samsung #GalaxyS8 #GalaxyS8Plus, #IndiaLaunch.” Besides that, Samsung official website lists the pre-registrations for the Galaxy S8 series in India.
These Samsung flagships were launched earlier on March 29 at an event in New York. Also, the company announced the Galaxy S8 series hold a new record of 7,20,000 preorders only in South Korea. The earlier record of 4,00,000 pre-orders was set by Galaxy Note 7. Now, both the phones will be rolled out in the US, South Korea, and some European countries starting this April 21.

Samsung will unveil Galaxy S8 and S8+ price in India on April 19. Rumors suggest that Samsung might take pre-orders from major e-commerce sites from the same day itself. The much anticipation on the S8 devices even after Note 7 tragedy surprises the competitors in the segment. Even the company is expecting huge pre-orders in India as well.
Samsung Bixby, AI-powered smart assistant to be rolled with Samsung Galaxy S8
Bixby smart assistant is another feature which adds more interest to the Galaxy S8 smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy S8 specifications compete with most of the S8+ excluding the larger display. Galaxy S8 is priced at $720, and S8+ retails for $840 in the US. Comparing the prices, both the devices may cost above Rs. 50,000 in India. Samsung has slashed the price of Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge by Rs. 5000 in India.
