No Deaths & Properties losses reported due to an earthquake, though it did create a little panic among people. We have to wait some more time for a clear report from officials.
According to the US Geological Survey, the epicenter of the earthquake was located in the Hindu Kush Region in Afghanistan at a depth of 170 KM.
Tremors with an intensity of 5.5 magnitudes on the Richter scale felt at Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Nowshera and Ghizer Valley.

The temblor at 4:05 am in the wee hours of Tuesday morning caused panic and fear in the people who came out of their houses in a bid to take shelter at safer places.
The epicenter of the quake, according to the seismological center was at a depth of 180 kilometers in Hindukush range of Afghanistan.
In October 2015, a 7.5-magnitude quake in Pakistan and Afghanistan killed almost 400 people, flattening buildings in rugged terrain that impeded relief efforts.

The earthquake shook some parts of capital Islamabad, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province in the northeast and some northern parts of Punjab.
“An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 struck Pakistan at 0804 GMT, 117 km east of the Swat Valley city of Mingora, at a depth of 43.4 km,” the US Geological Survey said.
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa from Peshawar said that the intensity of the tremor was 5.5 and its epic center was Hindu Kush Mountains.
The MeT Department reported that there is no loss of life and property after the tremors so far reported. The tremors continued for 30 seconds. Pakistan usually faces tremors, but most of them are not destructive. Pakistan is among the most earthquake-prone areas in the world.
However, in the year 2005, a massive earthquake had occurred in which more than 80,000 people have died and have a huge loss of property. Earlier this month on 5th September, 57 students were injured in the stampede after the minor earthquake struck Pakistan.
The students who are injured are from the mountainous region on Allai Tehsil of Battagram district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. The earthquake occurred on that day at a depth of 37 kilometers and hit the areas of Shangla, Swat, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Battagram and Muzaffarabad.
Following the today’s tremor, a high alert has been issued in several regions of Punjab. The tremors were also felt in the central areas like Lahore and Sheikupura and even several other places in Pakistan.
A massive earthquake hit Myanmar on Wednesday afternoon. According to the US Geological Survey (USGS) the Myanmar Earthquake recorded 6.8 magnitudes in the Richter scale.
The quake struck 143 km (88 miles) west of the city of Meiktila, the agency said. The epicentre of the quake was located in central Myanmar affecting the nearby Bengal, Bihar and Assam.
Tremblings of the earthquake were felt in the eastern part of India too.States like Bihar, West Bengal and Assam were slightly affected by the natural disaster. According to the reports the tremors had lasted for at least 10 seconds in West Bengal and three seconds across the Bihar.
Kolkata Metro train services were also suspended and later resumed.Many private offices and colleges in the city were evacuated.

The quake was so high that it shook the buildings in Myanmar’s biggest city of Yangon and tremors were also felt in various regions across the country.

The first high EQ magnitude was about 7.9 in 1857 Fort Tejon Earthquake ruptured 220 mi in central and southern California.
