Several Yoga enthusiasts, dignitaries, politicians and bureaucrats gather at Lucknow’s Ramabhai Ambebkar Sabha Sthal, where the Yoga practice have been going on for over a month now. To make the international yoga day in Lucknow a success, various organisations, NGOs and yoga gurus have held camps and practice sessions. Uttar Pradesh CM and Governor Ram Naik have inspected the location including the security arrangements for the Yoga Day event and attended full-dress rehearsal on Monday morning.

The First International Yoga Day was held on June 21, 2015 at Rajpath in the national capital with over 200 million people across the country and over 37,000 people in Delhi alone. Modi is expected to arrive at the venue by 6:30 am IST, speak on occasion and perform Yoga for an hour with 51,000 people till 9 am before leaving.

World Yoga Day event in Ahmedabad 2017: Baba Ramdev
Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev will Yoga from Ahmedabad. “From the GMDC ground to the AES ground, five grounds have been prepared for the event. More than 100 gates would be there. 3-4 lakh people are expected to attend the event,” he said a day before the Yoga Day.

World Yoga Day event in Delhi 2017: 6 AM to 7:40 AM
To make the International Yoda Day, seven events will be organised across Delhi. These are being planned in association with New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), Delhi Development Authority (DDA) and Yoga organisations. According to the Ayush Ministry, the locations of these events are Cannaught Place (NDMC), Nehru Park (NDMC), Lodhi Garden (NDMC), Talkatora Garden (NDMC), Dwarka (DDA), Rohini (DDA) and Khureji (DDA).
