Xiaomi Mi Max 2: Xiaomi has unveiled its successor of Mi Max in India today. The Chinese company has launched Mi Max last year which gained huge user base in the country. Xiaomi held a launch event on Tuesday to unveil the Mi Max 2 in India.
The Chinese Firm is spreading its market all over the world by offering competitive specs in very low budget. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 was launched in china back in may 2017 and is competing with the likes in the segment. Now, the beast has made its way to India with some interesting specs and attractive price tag.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a 6.44-inch full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by an Octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC processor clocked at 2GHz coupled with 4GB RAM. Mi Max 2 comes with two storage variants- 64GB and 128GB, these can be expanded further up to 128 GB with microSD card. The dual SIM smartphone runs on MIUI 8 based Android Nought 7.0

On camera font, Mi Max 2 touts 12-megapixel Sony IMX386 sensor with PDAF and dual-LED flash on the rear. Another 5 MP front facing shooter is provided for selfies. Connectivity options in the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, infrared, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is backed by a 5300 mAh battery with quick charging support. Xiaomi claims that the battery life of this smartphone will last for 2 days. Sensors on the board include ambient light sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope and proximity sensor.
Discussing the price, 64GB Xiaomi Mi Max 2 price in India starts at Rs.16,000, while the 128GB Mi Max 2 price is at Rs.19,000. The device is been made available in Gold, Silver and white colours.
