Redmi 4 offline sales : Xiaomi Redmi 4 is now rolled out for sale through offline retail stores from Friday. The company has confirmed that the Redmi 4 offline sale will be available in India as well. Redmi 4 was initially launched in India in May and sales are in decent number. At first, Redmi 4 is exclusively available on leading e-commerce website Amazon India.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4 is available in three variants in India. The Redmi 4 offline price for 2GB RAM/ 16GB internal storage variant is Rs. 6,999. The mid-line 3GB RAM/ 32GB internal storage variant is made available for Rs. 8,999. The top of the line 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage is priced at Rs. 10,999.
Reports say that Xiaomi is selling the smartphone for a Rs. 500 on the higher end when compared to their online prices. This makes the 2GB RAM variant cost Rs. 7,499, and the 3GB RAM variant will cost Rs. 9,499. Xiaomi says it is unable to limit the Redmi 4 offline price as it may vary per retailer.
On the other hand, Xiaomi fans can now buy Redmi 4 through pre-orders sale system. This allows consumers to buy/pre-order Xiaomi phones without waiting for flash sales from the Mi.com website.
Discussing the specs, Xiaomi Redmi 4 features 5-inch HD display with 720×1280 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC paired with 2GB/ 3GB/ 4GB of RAM. The device sports all metal body and a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. The dual-SIM device runs MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
Redmi 4 touts a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. Another 5-megapixel front facing camera with f/2.2 aperture is provided for selfies. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, Micro-USB with OTG, and 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone is powered by a 4100mAh battery which stands as a highlight in the segment.
