Finally, Lexus has made its debut in India with the launch of Lexus RX 450h Hybrid SUV. Essentially, The RX 450h is a midrange luxury SUV available in two variants- RX Luxury and RX F-Sport. The Lexus RX 450h luxury is priced at Rs 1.07 crore, and the RX 450h F-Sport trim costs around Rs 1.09 crore. The car will go on sale starting Friday, and both the prices mentioned are as per the vehicle ex-showroom Delhi.
The Lexus RX range is one of the most successful hybrid SUV and is a tough competitor in luxury SUV segment. Carmakers like BMW, Audi, and Mercedes-Benz are also planning to bring hybrid SUVs to the Indian market. As of now, Volvo XC90 Plug-in Hybrid could only be the rival in the country.

The Lexus RX 450h comes out with style and a new design which makes the car unique among others. There are impressive outlooks in the front like the X-shaped front grille, sharp headlamps with LED daytime running lights, chiseled flanks. The line on the car enhance sits muscular look, particularly the smooth character lines on the bonnet.
Under the hood, the Lexus RX 450h drives power from 3.5-litre V6 VVT-i petrol engine paired to an electric motor. The engine produces 308bhp and attains 100kmps in just 7.8 seconds. Other players like the Mercedes-Benz GLS, Audi Q7, and the BMW X5 will give head to head competition for Lexus RX 450h.
The sporty alloys, floating-roof-style design, squared wheel arches add more sportiness to the SUV. The rear profile of the car features sharp angular lines, and the wraparound LED taillamps connected by a chrome strip. The roof-mounted spoiler with brake lights integrated into it complete an extremely complex yet intricate design.
Lexus RX 450h measures 4890 mm long, 1895 mm wide, 1685 mm tall and comes with big size trunk. The 5-seater SUV has a good amount of cabin space to make use of it. It provides a remote touch controller with a larger stick-out display on the dashboard for infotainment.
