Lenovo K8 Note launch

Lenovo has started sending media invites for the launch of a new smartphone on August 9. Earlier this week, Lenovo has unveiled a teaser video of its next #KillerNote. Now, the launch date posted is viral across the social media channels of Lenovo. Also, this hints the launch of Lenovo K8 Note slashing all the anticipations that it could be K7 Note.

Lenovo has released an 18-second teaser video revealing that the upcoming smartphone will observe a boost in performance. The caption reads, “Tired of ordinary performance? #KillerNote. Uncaged soon.” The company hasn’t yet revealed the details of the upcoming device. However, the reason behind skipping ‘7’ is still unknown, but the number hints that the smartphone might get a dual rear camera.

Recent benchmark listing site reveals some details about the Killer Note. As per the reports, Lenovo K8 Note features 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. K8 Note is likely to be powered by a 1.4GHz MediaTek Helio X20 processor coupled with 4GB RAM. On storage font, K8 Note might get 32GB storage inbuilt and can be expanded further with SD card.

The processor has observed a noticeable jump over its predecessor which touts a Snapdragon 430 SoC and 3GB of RAM. The smartphone will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and will offer an experience above the existing Lenovo phones. In the benchmark test, the K8 Note scored 1,659 and 4,844 for single and multi cores respectively.
