Honor 8 Pro:Huawei Honor has finally launched its Honor 8 Pro smartphone on Thursday in India. The company has unveiled the handset last month in India. The dual camera setup stands as the highlight features on the smartphone.
Honor 8 Pro provides the VR experience as the retail box can be turned into a Google Cardboard viewer. The Honor 8 Pro is made available in Midnight Black and Navy Blue colour variants in India. The phone sports a fingerprint scanner at the back to unlock the device. Honor 8 Pro price in India is Rs. 29,999.
Discussing the specs, Honor 8 Pro features 5.7-inch QHD LTPS LCD display with 1440×2560 pixels resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor coupled with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM. The dual-SIM handset runs EMUI 5.1 based Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. Huawei has touted the adaptive OS in the past, and claims that about 90 percent of core operations can be completed in 3 simple steps.

On camera font, Honor 8 Pro flaunts dual rear camera setup with two 12-megapixel sensors with f/2.2 aperture. Other camera options include LED flash, laser autofocus, and enables 4K video recording. The smartphone comes with an 8-megapixel front sensor coupled with an 77-degree wide-angle lens.
The handset comes with 128GB of in-built storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB). Interestingly, only Indian market gets this 128GB in-built storage variant as the rest of the world gets only 64GB. The connectivity options on the Honor 8 Pro include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB Type-C, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.2, NFC and 3.5mm headphone jack.
A 4000mAh battery powers the device which can deliver up to 1.44 days of battery life with heavy use and 2 days with regular use. Other sensor range includes ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, accelerometer, infrared sensor, and proximity sensor.
