Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (APSET) is an entrance exam. University Grants Commission, New Delhi has granted accreditation to Andhra University, Visakhapatnam for the conduct of SET Exam. It organises direct recruitment as Assistant Professor/Lecturer through direct recruitment.

The Examination is at in 6 regional centres: Visakhapatnam, Rajamahendravaram (Rajahmundry), Guntur, Nellore, Anantapur and Tirupati. While applying for Andhra Pradesh SET Application Form, candidates have to pay application fee Rs.1000 General, Rs.800 BC and Rs.500 by SC/ST/PH.VH Categories.
