Aamir Khan’s Dangal is creating sensations
Indian Movies have so much craze in our neighboring country China too. Keeping the other language films aside, Bollywood Aamir Khan’s movies are creating sensations in China Movie Industry. His films like 3-idiots and PK got dubbed in Chinese and released which received a tremendously positive response from the audience. His PK movie collected Rs.100 crores at the box office in China alone. Recently his latest blockbuster Dangal is also released in China, and the film earned Rs.15 crores on the first day itself, early estimations 22 crores in two days.
Out of 40000 screens in China, Dangal hit 9000 screens which are the widest release ever. Aamir Khan along with Director Nitesh Tiwari went to China for promotions and visited Beijing, Shangai, and Chengdu, etc. Just like Hollywood movies, the Bollywood movies also have so much craze in China, and Aamir Khan proved this.
The Kung Fu Panda which was the joint movie of both India and China starred by Sonu Sood and Jackie Chan also did well in China even though it failed in India.
China can only air 34 foreign movies in its theaters per year. So they restricted the number of Indian movies to get air to 2. But, China recently increased the number of Indian films that can be released in China per year from 2 to 4. Almost more than 50% quota goes to Hollywood movies and movies can’t get released without proper permission from the China Government. So as PK and Dangal are doing exceptionally well, they are inspiring the other filmmakers in India too.
