Micromax has announced latest addition to its range of canvas series. The company has listed Micromax Selfie 2 smartphone in official website for sale. The home grown mobile manufacture always makes its presence in the low budget mobiles segment. Now, this Selfie 2 comes with some impressive camera specs to compete with the likes.

Discussing specs, Micromax Selfie 2 features a 5.2 HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor coupled with 3 GB RAM. The device gets 32GB internal storage on board which can be further expanded with a microSD card.

Micromax selfie 2 smartphone touts fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. The smartphone runs on Android Nougat operating system with some features like Multi Window Support. Micromax interface provides some interesting assists like Reply in the Notification Panel, New quick settings option, Enhanced Doze Mode, and Bundled Notifications.

On camera font, Selfie 2 comes equipped with 13-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture. Other camera options include 5P lens, OV 8856 sensor, 84-degree field of view and LED flash. Micromax has been rumored to launch its new Bharat series of budget smartphones. This new Micromax Bharat series will include Bharat 1 smartphone which comes 4G VoLTE enabled. Besides this, the series also include Bharat 2 Android smartphone with low price. Now, Bharat 2 smartphone reportedly to go on for sale in India.

Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom has tweeted the picture of the unboxed smartphone and specifications. The out packing of the box reveals the design and look of the smartphone. The picture unveils that the smartphone packs capacitive touch buttons below the display. The back panel of the device gets the speaker grille and Micromax logo.

Micromax has unveiled Spark Vdeo smartphone with a 4.5-inch display and 4G support

Micromax is gearing up to attain its old position in the budget smartphone market in India. After the launch of Canvas Mega 2 Plus Q426+, the company has unveiled Spark Vdeo smartphone. This new addition to the Vdeo series comes well groomed with preloaded Google Duo app. Interestingly, the smartphone supports texting in 12 major Indian regional languages.

“With Spark Vdeo, we are bringing a perfect amalgamation of our most popular smartphones and wish to present further a compelling device that will win consumer confidence. We developed Spark Vdeo as all-in- one phone for easy access to connect with your closed one via a video call,“ says Shubhajit Sen, CMO at Micromax.

Micromax Spark Vdeo features 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display with 854 x 480-pixel resolution. The device is powered by 1.1 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. It boasts 1GB RAM with 8GB internal storage. However, the storage can be expanded up to 32 GB with microSD card support. Spark Vdeo measures 133.8×67.5x10mm in dimensions and Weighs round 140g.

The device features Dual SIM support and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. On camera font, a 5MP rear camera is provided with LED Flash. Another 2MP front-facing camera is assigned for selfie duties. Spark Vdeo comes with 4G VoLTE support which is more interesting to see in Vdeo series. Other Connectivity options in the device include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio.

Micromax to launch a new smartphone with dual rear camera setup

Micromax is all set for the launch of its new smartphone next week in India. The manufacturer is promoting the teaser on social media platform and is likely to boast dual rear camera setup. Micromax is planning to organize curtain-raiser event and is sending media invites for the same. The launch event is scheduled on 29 March, and mostly the smartphone likely to be ‘Micromax E4815‘ spotted earlier online.

However, the company hasn’t revealed anything about the device is Micromax E4815. But, as per reports, the leaked images and the earlier launch in China hints the device could be E4815. Also, Micromax may not launch the phone in India with the same name.

Micromax Canvas Mega 2 Plus Q426+ launched with 6-inch display

Alleged specs sheet states that the mobile will feature a metal unibody design 5.5 inch IPS display. The device might get 13 MP and 5 MP dual camera module at the rear with LED flash. Another 5 MP selfie shooter is provided on the front to click some selfies and video calls.

The device will be powered by 1.5 GHz octa-core MediaTek (MT6750T) processor. It boasts 3 GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be expanded further with MicroSD card. The smartphone may include all connectivity options and does support 4G with VoLTE. It will also have a finger print scanner incorporated in the Home button.

Micromax has come up with big form factor smartphone after a long time. The company has launched Canvas Mega 2 last year and now, Micromax Canvas Mega 2 Plus Q426+ launched. This latest smartphone from micromax comes with a unique slim design language. Micromax is targeting to attract budget smartphone buyers with this Canvas Mega 2 Plus Q426+.

New Canvas Mega 2 Plus Q426+ features a 6-inch qHD IPS display with 960 x 540 pixels resolution. The device is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-Core processor and is coupled with 2GB RAM. It boasts an internal memory of 16GB and the memory can is expandable further with microSD card.
