GoPro launched New Action Cameras Karma Drone, Hero5

GoPro is famous for their action cameras, has come up with the very first flying drone called Karma. The Karma drone was unveiled on Monday. The price of the drone is starting from $799 which includes the handheld stabilized grip for capturing shots on the ground.

This action camera is waterproof and cloud-connected Hero5 and Session cameras. Apart from them it also comes with simplified the Video editing software for the Apple’s iOS and the keychain-sized Lightning-connected microSD card reader.

Karma is the system which helps in capturing the amazing footage with the GoPro in the air, handheld or by mounting with your favorite gear.

After watching the video presentation, GoPro has shown the footage from the Karma Grip which is attached to the chest mount during the rider rode the bike down a mountainside at high speeds.

The GoPro captured the best shots and the video although they rode through the terrains and the environment, best part here in capturing the smooth and steady footage, we have to thank the gimbal accessory.

Apart from the Karma Drone, Company has also announced the Hero5 Black camera. It is capable of recording the 4K video up to 30 Frames per Second and the 1080P HD at 120 Frames per Second. Hero5 is priced at $399 and is built-in with GPS and Voice control features.

Hero5 GoPro comes with waterproof feature and is capable with a range up to 33 feet. This drone is compatible with the Hero5 Black, Hero5 Session, and Hero4.

The Hero5 is capable of capturing the still images with 12 megapixel quality and also supports electronic image stabilization.

There is another smaller Hero5 Session camera released alongside and priced at $299. This can record 4K video at 30 Frames per second and capture the images with 10-megapixel quality. When compared with another Hero5 model, the current model lags both GPS and touch display.

The users can upload the photos and videos to the connected cloud service available the GoPro Hero5 cameras. The subscribers will be charged on using the GoPro Plus service.

LG Challenging GoPro With Its Upcoming Action Camera ‘LG Action CAMLTE ‘

LG is all set to release its latest Action camera named LG Action CAMLTE. The firm seems to be targeting to top the list of Action cameras by giving a tough competition to the current companies like GoPro, Sony.

LG Action CAMLTE is the first one of its kind that is featured with LTE connectivity. It can live stream videos directly to video hosting websites like YouTube without a smartphone in between. The Camera also has the remote access feature by which it can also be used as a security monitor or CCTV. This feature will be associated with a software update in July 2016.

The 12.3 Megapixels Camera is capable of recording Ultra HD videos at 30 frames per second and high-quality images can be taken. The pictures and videos recorded on the action camera can also be downloaded using the paired smartphones.

LG Action CAMLTE comes up with a rating of IP67 which makes it repellent to dust & sand. It is water resistant and can be in the water for up to 30 minutes. A complete waterproof case which would be available in the third quarter enables the camera to participate in more action stunts like biking, off-road races, rafting, surfing and scuba diving.

It would also shoot crisp and smoother videos even when mounted to helmets, bicycles, cars and it doesn’t lose its perfection during action activities. It is powered by a 1,400mAh battery which would give the best full HD recording time of up to four hours.

Juno Cho, president of LG Electronics and Mobile Communications briefed that “We are committed to expanding the LG Playground ecosystem with both modules and standalone accessories and Action CAMLTE is one of much more that we plan to announce this year.”

He also added, “Action CAMLTE is an example of the kind of innovation we will be bringing to market, devices that offer features unavailable in other competing products.”

The device is expected to be unveiled at an event in June 2016. It will be first available in Korea and its availability will expand later to the rest of the world. Official Information about the price & availability would be disclosed at the launch itself.

Along with the GoPro VR a wireless live streaming tool known as LIVE VR is also being launched at the same event. It would be available with all devices of GoPro and it is installed with the current VR platform. The live streaming system is a part of their collaboration with Moto GP and would stream more sport activities. At first the videos of Sponsored athletes would be telecasted later would go with general videos too.

With Out rolling of expensive VR headsets like  Facebook’s Oculus Rift & HTC vive now enforcing the market for providing both the software and hardware developments. There is an apparent urgency for the development of games and more VR tools as well as its content soon.

The development of Affordable VR headsets would make it reach the ordinary people too. OMNI VR Camera will be available for Pre-Booking on the Company’s official website GoPro.com from Monday.
