MS Dhoni’s Men are into the finals. They will be meeting Mumbai Indians on this Sunday. It was an exciting match last night and the contest was between Delhi Capitals and the Chennai Super Kings.  MS Dhoni had made one change in his team. He played Shardul Thakur instead of Murali Vijay. Vizag being a spin track, CSK was well-equipped with three spinners namely, Imran Tahir, Harbhajan Singh, and Ravindra Jadeja.  

Even though Delhi Capitals had spinners, they were very expensive as they considered too many runs and they dint have a huge total to defend. Toss was won by MS Dhoni, as usual MSD opted to bowl first. Deepak Chahar picked Prithvi Shaw during the first power play. CSK bowlers were bowling in the right tandem, not giving the width to Delhi Batsman to score boundaries and sixers. Harbhajan and Tahir were brilliant in the middle as they could bowl the wrong ones when it was needed. As usual immature Rishab Pant got out cheaply. He is talented but not at international standards. Delhi Capitals managed to score 147 runs on the board.

The asking run rate was not so high. Watson and Duplessis were off to a shaky start but somehow managed to play against all odds. They put a decent partnership. “Form is temporary, but class is permanent” they say. Watson proved the saying right. He was having lot of problems with his batting techniques. But he never gave up. Captain MSD always supported him and he delivered when it was needed. Both of them carried the innings deep. Chennai Super Kings won the match with 6 wickets. Now that they have won the semis, they have a bigger threat i.e. Mumbai Indians are equally strong and capable of winning matches as they have shown grit and passion towards the game.
