China-based mobile handset maker Doogee has come up with a new phone of big screen form factor. Doogee, the sub-brand of Hong Kong-based KVD International group, announced Y6 Max phone. Y6 Max packs some decent specs to serve what Indian smartphone market needs. The new phone is no less than any Chinese smartphone offering concerning premium specs and features.
The handset packs full metal body and a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel. Doogee Y6 Max features a 6.5-inch FHD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution at 339 PPI. The smartphone screen is protected with 2.5D glass on top. The device is powered by a 1.5GHz MTK6750T Cortex-A53 64 bit octa-core chipset coupled with ARM Mali-T860 MP2 GPU.

Y6 Max packs 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage which can be expanded Maximum up to 128GB via an SD card. The company claims the fingerprint sensor is pretty fast and unlocks the phone in just 0.15 seconds. Y6 Max is 8.95mm thick and weighs around 250g.
On camera font, a 13-megapixel camera of f/2.2 aperture is adjusted on the rear panel with 5-piece lens and LED flash. Camera options include Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF), Panorama and HDR support. Another 5 MP 84-degree wide angle lens front facing camera is provided for selfies. The front camera also comes with face recognition, anti-shake features and auto beautify mode.
Y6 Max ships Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with Customized UI. Connectivity options in Y6 Max include 4G LTE support, Wi-fi, and Bluetooth. Sensor range in Y6 Max smartphone comprises of a light sensor, gravity sensor, accelerometer sensor, proximity sensor, electronic compass, a geomagnetic sensor, and gyroscope. It is a dual SIM slot smartphone along with one Micro SD card slot.

Y6 Max packs MEMS microphone on board reduces noise when recording, while Hi-Fi audio which provides good quality sound. The device is backed by a massive 4300 mAh battery and is available in Shimmer gold and Glacier Silver colors.
