In recent interview with BlackBerry CEO John Chen says “We have one keyboard phone I promised people. It’s coming.” Recent smartphones from Blackberry are Priv, DTEK50 and DTEK60 and adding to it, the new smartphone from the company powered by Android is planned to come up with its remarkable QWERTY keyboard along with many security enhancements.

As per the rumors, the last device from the Blackberry comes with the codename of Mercury. This smartphone is reportedly featured with the fingerprint sensor embedded in the spacebar in keyboard.

The latest images circulating over the internet are now possibly showing the final design of the next Blackberry smartphone. The looks and design of this phone are like the premium version when compared with the recently released phones DTEK50 and DTEK60.

This new smartphone Mercury from Blackberry is expected to arrive with 2.0GHz Qualcomm processor equipped with 3GB of RAM. The internal storage of the phone is with 32GB. The phone comes with 4.5 inches as the display size.  The primary camera of this handset is sported with 18-megapixel and front facing camera with 8-megapixel picture quality. Two images of this new Blackberry smartphone are on the internet. The front facing camera shows the ambient light sensors on the other side of the earpiece.  As per the sources, the spacebar on the bottom actually doubles as the fingerprint sensor so that it can skip the additional piece of hardware.
