Indian Women’s team caption Mithali Raj is stuck in a controversy regarding the way he got out in ICC Women World Cup, 2017.They were many speculations and weird stuff written on social media about the strange run-out. Mithali Raj finally opens up on the controversy; she claims that I am aware of the fact that the run-out is put up in a wrong way all across the social media.
Many questions arose over Captain Mithali Raj and the way she lost her wicket. Some blamed her run-out was an act of irresponsibility. The skipper has come under inspection.Bollywood’s KRK went one step ahead and accused her of match fixing.
Finally, In an exclusive interview, Raj finally spoke about the Dismissal. In her explanation, “I saw some weird stuff written about my run out on social media. Actually, what happened was my spike got stuck on the pitch. Punam called me for a run, and I responded. Before I reached the half way, this thing (Spike getting stuck) happened, and I don’t think the TV cameras captured it. I couldn’t push myself hard and couldn’t even make an effort to dive. I was helpless.”

She also added her spike got stuck in the ground which stopped her from running and being helpless at that moment. While her co-player Punam asked her to take a run, she explained about the spike with ease. The player also mentioned that this would be her last World Cup.
Unfortunately, after so much hard work and the Indian Women Team lost to England by a thin margin. However, they didn’t have the privilege of lifting the honourable ICC Women World Cup, 2017.
