OurMine strikes again, and this time it’s much larger target. Just a week after hacking HBO’s and Sony’s PlayStation Twitter accounts, OurMine group has made it to the headlines again by WikiLeaks hack.
OurMine is a security group which hacks prominent accounts for publicity and business purposes. The teams has earlier hacked into Mark Zuckerberg, Sundar Pichai, and Games of Thrones’ social media accounts.
The team OurMine claims WikiLeaks hack with a display of statement on the WikiLeaks website. “Hi, it’s OurMine (security group) don’t worry we are just testing your blablablab,” reads the message. The security group has also added that this is the counter for the challenging of WikiLeaks hack.

“Oh! Wait this is not a security test! WikiLeaks, remember when you challenged us to hack you?” the display on Wikileaks hacked page quotes.
In addition, there is a statement from OurMine on twitter detailing the reason behind the hack. “first of all, the people who are wondering why we hacked it, we did that because they challenged us to hack them about a few months ago. We have been working on this for a very long time, Finally we did this! and its hacked!”
Also, OurMine group is aiming for huge publicity with a hashtag on twitter #WikileaksHack.
