Indigo Pre-New Year offer: Ahead of the New Year, and high competition, Indigo is offering tickets starting at Rs.1, 112 on select routes. Select flights from Jammu to Srinagar next month were available from Rs.1, 112, according to the airline’s website goindigo.in. Indigo is also offering flights from Vishakhapatnam to Hyderabad at Rs.1, 259 .

The Coimbatore to Chennai Flight fare starting at Rs.1, 195, from Bangalore to Chennai at Rs.1,285, and from Patna to Kolkata at Rs.1,264 according to its website.

As given on its official website Indigo’s ticket from Jammu to Srinagar is priced at Rs.1, 112 inclusive of regular fare and fuel charge of Rs.825 and GST of Rs.42. To attract passengers Indigo airlines is offering discounts around the holiday season. As a part of promotional schemes another airline, AirAsia India is offering a discount of up to 40 percent off for a limited period on select flights.

Flyers have to make advanced bookings on selected flights, and the offer is available between 15th January 2018 and 25th April 2018. You can book the tickets through airasia.com website, and the bookings are open until 3rd December 2017.

According to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation data, nearly 10.45 million passengers flew in October 2017. From the past two years, major airports in India have experienced rapid growth of 20.52 percent in passenger traffic.

Budget airline IndiGo is offering huge discounts on select one-way flights. Aimed at the monsoon season, IndiGo monsoon discount offers all-inclusive tickets starting at Rs. 745. IndiGo’s discounted fares are a limited period offer and are available for travel between July 14, 2017, and March 24, 2018.

IndiGo monsoon discount bookings are open until July 4, 2017. IndiGo said the booking under this offer can be made through all channels and is subject to availability. However, this IndiGo monsoon discount is a move to attract customers in the Indian airline market ahead of the July-September.

To start with, Srinagar to Jammu fare stands at Rs 799 while the Jammu to Srinagar fare stands at Rs 745. Chennai to Bengaluru fare cost you just Rs 898 under the offer. The fare between Agartala to Guwahati starts at Rs 778.

Tickets under this IndiGo monsoon discount can be booked till July 4 for travel between 14 July 2017 and 24 March next year. Ticket Rates from Ahmedabad to Bengaluru start at Rs 2,548 and Ahmedabad- Jaipur route fare has been slashed to Rs 1200.

Seven Airline Companies Barred TDP MP JC Diwakar Reddy After Ruckus at Vizag Airport

On Thursday Indigo has barred TDP MP Diwakar Reddy from its flight because of his misbehaving with the employees when they refused to let him board a flight because he was late in Visakhapatnam airport. Recently, seven other airline companies have barred the Telugu Desam Party MP from flying on their planes.

AirAsia, Jet Airways, GoAir, Vistara and other three carriers is baring the Diwakar Reddy from its flight on Friday. Indigo was the first to bar him and SpiceJet and Air India followed the Indigo on the same day. This is not the first time that Parliamentarian has misbehaving in the airport. Last October, JC Diwakar Reddy has created a scene in Ganavaram airport, when he missed a flight and he fired on officer for not waiting for him.

Diwakar Reddy is not the first person misbehaving with airlines, in past, Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad hit a 60-year-old Air India Duty Manager with a slipper for not being given a business class seat.A complaint was filed against YSR Congress MP Mithun Reddy by assaulting the Air India manager at the Renigunta airport.

Reddy was denied a boarding pass because he checked in late in Visakapatnam-Hyderabad Flight. As per the regulations, check-in counter at airport must close 45 minutes before the scheduled take-off, Reddy arrives 28 minutes before his flight set to take off.

“IndiGo confirms the incident of an unruly behaviour on board 6E 608 en-route from Vizag to Hyderabad. (The) MP (J C Diwakar Reddy) who was scheduled to fly with IndiGo reported 28 minutes prior to the scheduled departure. The staff politely informed him that boarding for flight 6E 608 is closed and offered to accommodate Reddy in the subsequent flight. Reddy expressed his annoyance and soon raged against the staff using aggressive and abusive behaviour,” said a statement from the airline, after the incident on Thursday
