Micromax has come up the new basic smartphone Micromax Bolt Mega Q397. This handset arrives in 5.5-inch IPS display with the resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The dimensions of the phone are 155.4 mm x 77.8 mm x 9 mm and weighs about 174.7 grams.

The phone is equipped with Quad core 1.4 GHz & Spreadtrum SC7731 processor. Along with the processor, Mali 400MP GPU is clubbed with it. The RAM on this device comes with 1GB and internal storage is 8 GB can expandable up to 32 GB using the microSD card.

The primary camera of this device is 8 megapixel along with the flash, the front camera comes with 2 MP and the LED flash. Currently selfies are trending in this generation and with the add-on of Flash will help to capture the better selfies.

Micromax Bolt Mega Q397 supports only 3G connectivity, there is no 4G support for this phone. But when compared with the pricing, this is the major drawback. The phone is pre-installed and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The connectivity features on this device are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and 3.5mm audio jack. The battery capacity of this phone is 2650 mAh.

Earlier Micromax has released the budget smartphones, Canvas Spark which is 5-inch smartphone with 4G support. Before to this handset it even launched Canvas Fire 6, but not reached up to mark.
