Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission is known as APPSC. It is the public service commission which has been established by the AP. The A.P public service commission came into existence in the year 1956. The APPSC has formed by the one Chairman and 3 members, and now it has enhanced to one chairman and 9 members.

Recently they have released APPSC Group 2 notification for various posts like the municipal commissioner, asst commercial tax officer, sub-registrar grade 2, deputy tehsildar, assistant labour officer, assistant development officer, excise officer, prohibition and excise sub inspector in executive posts and others posts in non-executive posts.
In the past they have conducted screening test for 150 marks and mains exam is conducted for general studies and mental ability, the social history of Andhra Pradesh and general view of the Indian constitution and paper 3 in planning in India, Indian economy, contemporary problems. Each paper is conducted for 150 marks.

Exam Date:15.07.2017 AN and 16.07.2023 FN & AN
The Mains examination (CBRT) for the posts (982) of Group-II Services (Notfn.No.18/2016) will be held on 15.07.2023 AN and 16.07.2023 FN & AN at 13 Districts of Andhra Pradesh and Hyderabad. The hall tickets would be placed on Commission’s web from 01.07.2023 for downloading.
