Mom Movie Review: Sri Devi’s Mom movie which shows the relation between a mother and a daughter was released today. This movie reminds us of the Nirbhaya moment that our country dealt with. The trailer of Mom which was released a few days back created a massive buzz among the fans of Sridevi. As she is back after five years, her last movie was English Vinglish in the year 2012. Mom an emotional thriller movie was directed by Ravi Udyawar. Sridevi’s 300th landmark film is coincidentally produced by her husband Bonny Kapoor under the banner of MAD films and Third Eye Pictures. Mom(2017) Movie Story plot & Review:
Sridevi is a biology teacher and a mother of two gorgeous daughters. She seems like floating with a perfect life. Arya is one among the two daughters and is a sensitive girl. But she cannot accept Devki and her love wholeheartedly. Arya believes that a mother does not enter into the life of a daughter, but a daughter can come into the life of the mother. Devki believes that only a mother can understand her child’s silence, so she waits patiently for Arya’s love and acceptance.
An unfortunate incident takes place in the life of her daughter. Arya was physically assaulted by Abhimanyu Singh (Jagan) and her gang. This event brought distance between Arya and Devki. The rest of the film continues Devki’s fight for her daughter against Jagan. Would Devki be able to defeat Jagan? Will Arya accept Devki wholeheartedly?

Cast Performance:
Sridevi return after five years gave a mind blowing performance. The reason behind this is she lives the character she chooses. The first look poster itself showed an intriguing look and described her dedicated intention towards the story. Nawazuddin with his fierce expression is a perfect suit in the role of an antagonist. The performance by other actors - Sajal Ali, Akshay Khanna gave a notable performance.
Technical Aspects:
The direction by Ravi Udyawar and Girish Kohli, screenplay made the flick interesting. The direction and screenplay went hand in hand which gave the film a perfect look.
Anay Goswamy who is responsible for Cinematography gave a wonderful photography, while Monisha R. Baldawa for editing made the technical front look beautiful and eye catchy attracting a massive number of audience. Music album by A.R.Rahman, the melody king, gave completely emerged and imaginative songs.

Verdict:
Mother is known as the symbol for Strength; this move further stresses those words. This film has a powerful teamwork by Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Sridevi, and other cast. The direction and screenplay went hand by hand impressing the audience.
