In the year 2011, the officials introduced Common Written Examination (CWE) for the recruitment of Probationary Officer, Clerical Cadre and Specialist Officer Posts. IBPS CWE is mandatory for anyone who seeks employment in the 29 public sector and Regional Rural banks.
