It is remake of Hindi movie “Saala Khadoos” which is a huge hit in Bollywood. It is an action sports drama directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad and Produced by S.Sashikanth and Santhosh Narayanan tracked music for this movie.

Guru is a motivational movie like Dangal which encourages girls to sports. Victory Venkatesh leads the role as boxing coach. Two professional boxers in their real life from a boxing academy, Ritika Singh and Mumtaz Sorcar, who has done films in Bengali & Hindi, had signed to play two female leads in Guru 2017 Telugu Movie. Ritika is as debut actress in Telugu. She lived the character and not even showed any nervousness in acting.
This year senior heroes Chiranjeevi, Balayya babu released their movies khaidi no 150 & Gowthami Putra Satakarni movie in January which were sensational hits. Guru Telugu Movie Story Plot:
It is a story of a professional boxer, Adi, aspires to win Gold Medal in the World box Championship, but his dreams shatter due to dirty politics in the boxing association. He quits boxing and return to the boxing ring as a coach.
Adi finds aggressive fish seller Rameshwari, who accomplishes his dream of winning gold medal for the country. He noticed her while she is thrashing the judges during her sister’s tournament.
Adi foresees her as the next big thing to happen in International Boxing and he started train her. But, due to his strict training methods and her aggressive nature, the differences arise between them. Later, when female lead realises that Adi has to sell off his bike to provide quality equipment for her, she eventually falls in love with him. But, he rejects her proposal and advises her to focus on the game. Finally, the girl comes out victorious despite several hardships and makes his coach’s dream come true.
