Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has announced the cancellation of Bihar State Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) exam. The cause behind this state clerk recruitment is the question paper alleged a leak.

“On the basis of the preliminary report of state police chief P K Thakur and recommendation of Chief Secretary Anjani Kumar Singh, the state government has canceled the BSSC exam for clerical grade appointment,” Kumar told reporters.

CM Nitish Kumar made this announcement from state Cabinet meeting at Secretariat accompanied by CS and other officials. The Chief Minister has ordered a thorough investigation into the paper leak by the DGP and CS.

Commission Secretary Parmeshwar Ram is undergoing an Intensive questioning by the Special Investigation Team (SIT). Patna Senior Superintendent of Police Manu Maharaj is supervising the Investigation on the cancellation of BSSC exam.

On a serious note, the Chief Minister had issued strict instructions to the two top officials on the BSSC allegation. As per the reports, Patna Senior Superintendent of Police Manu Maharaj stated that BSSC Secretary Parmeshwar Ram had been arrested for the allegation.

“The Special Investigation Team has arrested Parmeshwar Ram and one another staff of the Commission in this connection,” the SSP said.
