Samsung Galaxy S8, the company’s new flagship model, is launching at two events one in New York City and other in London. Galaxy S8 Plus would also be unwrapped along with the S8 smartphone.

Talking about the Galaxy S8 specifications, it would feature a 5.8-inch AMOLED pressure sensitive display while its Sibling S8 plus may come with 6.2-inch pressure sensitive Super AMOLED display. Another Unique feature of the Samsung Galaxy S8 is its dual-edged curved display named as the Infinity Display.

It would have 18:9 aspect ratio with an almost negligible bezel. According to the leaks, both the ‘S8’ smartphones would be powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC processor. The leaks in the past week suggest that Samsung Galaxy S8, S8 plus smartphones would be coming with Bixby, an AI-based digital assistant.

Both the smartphones would have 4GB of RAM and have dual-SIM options. The buzz is that China and S Korea will be getting 6GB RAM variants. The S8 devices will run on Android 7.0 Nougat (out of the box) and pegged with a 12-megapixel dual pixel rear camera along with a 8 MP front camera.

S8, S8+ might have 3000 mAh and 3500 mAh batteries respectively. According to the latest reports, they might feature Iris Scanner as well as a fingerprint sensor. The New Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will be IP68Dust and Water Resistant. The Samsung’s Flagship models may feature some additional surprises too.

South Korean giant Samsung has unveiled its Samsung pay App in India after its Early access Programme. Also, it acts as an issuing partner for American Express cards at the early stage of missing. Samsung has collaborated with MasterCard, Visa and American Express who act as gateways. Samsung Pay works with Samsung’s original Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST) technology plus Near Field Communication (NFC). MST duplicates a card swipe with wirelessly transmitting magnetic waves from the Samsung device to a standard card reader.

Samsung pay will work seamlessly on a majority of Point of Sale terminals in India through MST. This includes three level security- fingerprint authentication, card tokenization and Samsung KNOX (Samsung’s security platform).
