LUCKNOW: The provision of rainwater harvesting facility in the house is made mandatory for Every house in UP. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath went through the presentations of Urban Development Department regarding the house plans till late night and declared that the house plan would be accepted only if it has a rainwater harvesting facility mentioned in it.
CM Yogi has directed the officials to make the rainwater harvesting facility mandatory in the map. He said that this plan is necessary for the state to prevent the shortage of drinking water and the only way to save water for the future generations is to implement this remedial measure of building the rainwater harvesting service.
Mr. Yogi has also ordered the UP Jal Nigam officials to provide the water services at the doorsteps of needy and the pure drinking water should be available at all places even if it takes to bore the hand pumps again. He also suggested combining Mathura and Vrindavan under Agra Water Supply Scheme.
A welcome move by the newly elected Cheif Minister of Uttar Pradesh. This Rule should be adopted by all states for the sake of future generation.
