The much-awaited motorcycle, Yamaha YZF-R15 Version 3.0 has been officially launched by the company in Indonesia. The R15 series is one of the most successful bike series of the Yamaha. The new version is power packed with excellent equipment, revamped mechanicals, and more power.
The YZF-R15 was officially launched by Valentino Rossi and Maverick Vinales, the star riders of Yamaha MotoGP. The all-new Yamaha sports bike was Dubbed with the name baby R6.

The all new Yamaha R15 comes with all the design elements of a Super Sports Bike. The new R15 has a new aluminum rear arm for light weight, along with a stable motor control. The body is designed in a way to give a sporty look of a race bike.
Talking about the exterior design of the revamped R15, it is built with all the elements a perfect sports bike would posses. The Fuel Tank was optimized in a way that the rider will be more comfort while driving. For lessening the weight, the new R15 3.0 version has an aluminum rear arm.
Both the front and rear parts of the bike were designed in a stylish way, the LED lights on both the ends make the motorcycle look more aggressive than its predecessor. The analog-digital unit which we have seen in the older version gets retirement and is replaced by an entirely digital instrument cluster.The digital speedometer will assist, alerts the riders about the shift timing and gear positioning.
Having upgraded from the older 149 cc engine to 155 cc single cylinder engine churns out maximum power output of 19.04BHP at 10,000 rpm. The liquid cooled 4-stroke engine also gets 14.7 Nm of torque which is slightly lesser than the previous model.

The 6-speed gearbox mated with slipper clutch enables riders to make faster shifts. Also, the telescopic front forks have been substituted by the much sophisticated USDs, while the rear continues to get a mono shock suspension. Although it has dual disc brakes, the ABS missing can be said as the big minus of the new r15 3.0 version.
The all new Yamaha R15 2017 edition will be available in three different colors namely the Racing Blue, Matte Red and Matte Black. The Price of the Yamaha R15 3.0 version was not known, and the official announcement of the prices would be around mid-February. The Indian launch is expected by the end of this year.
