Xiaomi has introduced new products to its Mi Ecosystem IoT product lineup on Wednesday. The Chinese tech giant has launched Mi Laser Projector, Ninebot Plus, and Mi Ultrasonic Toothbrush. Xiaomi followed the tradition of launching the products in China first, and as of now, there is not info about the launch in other regions.
Xiaomi Mi Laser Projector:
Xiaomi Mi Laser Projector comes with ALPD 3.0 laser light source technology developed by Appotronics. Mi Laser Projector is described as “the world’s first truly cinema-level laser projector TV” by Xiaomi. It comes with features like built-in Mi TV and a custom DLP solution developed by Texas Instruments for Mi Ecosystem. The Mi Laser Projector can project a display up to 150 inches maximum and offers 5000 lumens source brightness with 3000: 1 native contrast.
To detail more, the new projector from Xiaomi sports four built-in speakers for sound output. The Mi Laser Projector price lists at CNY 9,999 (roughly Rs. 95,000) and will be made available from July 4 through the Mijia crowdfunding platform.
Xiaomi Ninebot Plus:
Discussing the Xiaomi Ninebot Plus, it is the successor to the Ninebot scooter launched a couple of years ago. The self-balancing transportation device now comes with an IPX6 level of water resistance.
Moving to the Ninebot Plus, the successor to 2015’s self-balancing Ninebot scooter, the transportation device comes with an IPX6 level of water resistance. “Compared with the Ninebot mini, Ninebot Plus is equipped with a strengthened magnesium alloy chassis and can now support a load of up to 100kg,” says, xiaomi at its release.
The Ninebot Plus scooter can now travel up to 35km on a single charge and sports a remote control which provides a control on its movement for users even without a smartphone. Xiaomi Ninebot Plus scooter comes with an optional camera for taking pictures. The Ninebot Plus scooter will be rolled out in both online and offline store in China. Sales of the device start from July 11 and will be available for CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 33,200).
Xiaomi Mi Ultrasonic Toothbrush:
Xiaomi Mi Ultrasonic Toothbrush is an electronic toothbrush from Xiaomi. This makes use of ultrasonic technology which enables vibrations of up to 31,000 times per minute and provides a powerful cleaning. The Mi Ultrasonic Toothbrush sports a 700mAh battery which lasts for 18 days on a single charge. The company claims that the battery serves based on twice-a-day usage.
The Mi Ultrasonic Toothbrush price is around CNY 199 (roughly Rs. 1,890) and will be available for sale from July 18.
