Xiaomi has unveiled Mi Notebook Air 13 with few additional hardware changes. Now, the latest notebook from Xiaomi comes with latest Intel chip and the graphics department has got a major update as well. This Mi Notebook Air 13 marks significant after the Mi Notebook Air 4G laptop launched December last year.

Mi Notebook Air 4G with 7th gen Intel Core M3 processor resulted in improved performance over its predecessor. Now, Mi Notebook Air 13 comes with some changes which include the latest Kaby Lake processors from Intel. The notebook is available in three versions, and two of them pack 7th gen Intel Core i5 chip. The top end model sports the Kaby Lake 7th gen Intel Core i7 chip with clocking speed of 3.0GHz.

8GB of DDR4 RAM remains standard in all the tree variants of the Mi Notebook Air 13. Storage variants of the device can be chosen among the 128GB or 256GB. Nvidia GeForce MX150 graphics card with 2GB GDDR5 memory gives the much-needed boost to the graphic department. This new chip can deliver better performance up to three times per watt when compared to the Nvidia 940MX.

New Mi Notebook Air 13 comes with a fingerprint scanner present on the top right corner of the trackpad. The design language and the rest of the specification remain the same as of its predecessor. Coming to pricing, Mi Notebook Air 13 with 7th gen Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM and 128GB PCIe storage listed at 4,999 Yuan (Rs 47,500 approx). Besides that, 256 GB Mi Notebook Air is priced at 5,499 Yuan (Rs 52,100 approx). On the other hand, Pricing for the top of the line variant is yet to be unveiled. The core i5 version notebook will be out for sale in China starting this June 15.
