Last year, Xiaomi has unveiled a bezel less smartphone for its users. Now, continuing the era of bezel less tradition, the Chinese smartphone maker has now unveiled Xioami Mi Mix 2. As Xiaomi is considered as Apple of China, the makers are planning to launch Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 on the same day of Apple iPhone 8 launch.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 Launch Date:
The Xiaomi Mi MIX was first launched in October 2016 and then went on sale back then. As per the sources from China, Xiaomi is gearing up to launch Mi MIX 2 on September this year. However, the exact date is yet to be revealed and the Phablet will only go on for sale from October. It is highly expected that Mi MIX 2 might be unveiled on September 12, the same which Apple is planning to launch iPhone 8. Yet, Xiaomi new smartphone will be out for public only after a month of launch. Furthermore, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 hints global market later.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 Specifications:
As of now, the company hasn’t unveiled any specs about the phone. But, in a recent listing found in a benchmarking site, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features may include 6.4-inch IPS LCD or AMOLED display panel. The display offers 2,540 x 1,440 pixels resolution. It is powered by a Snapdragon 835 chipset, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Another variant provides 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Sadly, the smartphone isn’t expected to sport a microSD card slot.
On camera font, the device may flaunt 19MP dual camera setup like any other flagships offer these days. Also, there are rumors about the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, a facial recognition feature, and Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Xiaomi’s MIUI 9 on top.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 Price:
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 price could be more expensive when compared to its predecessor. While the Mi MIX 4 GB RAM/128 GB storage option is listed for RMB 3,499 (around $525), the 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage version was available for RMB 3,999 (around $600).
If the latest rumors are believed to be true, Xioami Mi MIX 2 will be listed for RMB 3,999 (around $600) 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage model. On the other hand, the 8 GB RAM/256 GB storage variant will set you back RMB 4,999 (around $750).
