We celebrate World Animal day 2016 on October 4th.The main aim to celebrate this day is to raise the status of animals to improve the welfare standards around the globe.

Animals are one of the greatest gifts given by the god. But many of us don’t care about them. They also feel like us; they suffer a lot like humans. Their day to day life is a birth and death problem. They fight a lot for their survival.

So at least if we should recognize the pain of animals. Just show them we are humans filled with love and affection. We see many animals on the road treated humanely. 80% of world’s 1 billion cats and dogs are strayed on the roads.

This World Animal day is originated from German writer Heinrich Zimmermann and publisher of magazine Mensch und Hund/Man. In 1925 they started the event on October 4th. About 5000 people attended on that day. From that day onwards we continued to celebrate this event.
