UPSC Civil Services
UPSC has made the announcement that they are going to conduct Civil services exam in the month of June instead of August. They are implementing this process from 2017. In the year 2013 UPSC conducts civil services examination in the month of May after taking three years gap, they are conducting exams again in the month of June 2017.
Union Public Service Commission is one the central organization. It conducts examinations for prestigious exams in India. It conducts various examinations like civil services, forest services, national defence academy, combined medical services examination, etc.
Civil Services Examination is one of the competitive examinations in India. These civil services exam is conducted for various services like Indian administrative services, Indian police service, Indian Foreign Service, and Indian revenue services. It is recorded as one of the toughest exams in India.
For this examination about 10 to 11 lakhs applicants applies every year. Its success rate is 0.1 to 0.3%. The filtering process is introduced in the exam i.e prelims, mains and interview. After qualifying in the prelims, mains exam will conduct for selected applicants.
People face heavy competition in the exam. They have to do more and more hard work to get success in the exams. Now UPSC has decided to conduct civil prelims exam in the month of June only instead of August why because they want to complete the total recruitment process as soon as possible. After conducting exam, they are taking 40 days to announce the results.
From past 3 years they are conducting exam in the month of August and mains exam in the month of December. In 2016 about 9 lakhs applications are arrived for prelims, but only 4 lakhs people attended the exam. In that only 15,000 people qualified for the mains exam. By this you can know the competition level.
So applicants who are preparing for prelims exam must speed up your preparation process. Plan to complete your syllabus by this June.
