The UP Secondary Board (Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad) Class 10th and 12th examinations begin from today. Students who are pursuing the respective classes have applied for the exams. The UP 10th Class Examinations start from 16th March, i.e., with the Hindi paper first and continues until 1st April 2017. The Uttar Pradesh Class 12th Exams start on 16th March with military science exam and ends on 21st April with Library Science exam.

For the UP Board Exams, nearly 26.24 lakh students appearing for the Uttar Pradesh Class 12th Exams and about 34.4 lakh students will take the 10th exams. The total number of students appeared for this year examination has fallen short by 63,882 as compared to previous years.

A total of 1.02 lakh students will appear for the UP Board Exams both 10th and 12th classes at 149 centres in the state capital this year. About 60 lakh examinees are expected to appear for the board examinations across the state.

Earlier the Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education are planned to conduct the 10th and 12th class exams in the month of February and March. But due to assembly polls, the exams were postponed to mid-march after the election polls.

The board will release the UP Board 10th results and 12th class results within a short time after completion of exams on their official web portal.
