On Wednesday, IT minister KT Rama Rao along with Ministers C Laxma Reddy and Srinivas Reddy launched the logo and the theme of the satellite TV channel s of T-SAT at ITC Kakatiya in Hyderabad.
Under the Department of Information Technology, Electronics and Communications, Minister KTR launches two channels of T-SAT (Telangana Skills, Academic, and Training) along with their logos and theme song.
The two TV channels have been named T-SAT Vidya and T-SAT Nipuna. T-SAT Vidya provides educational requirements of the children living in rural and remote areas. T-SAT Nipuna caters to skill development and human resource development.
“T-SAT is aimed at improving standard health care and to create awareness among the people about prevention of crime and maintenance of law and order,” the ITE & C department. “T-SAT reaches approximately 70 lakh homes with television in Telangana. There have been 1.27 crore views of TSAT on YouTube so far,” claimed the department of SoFTNET CEO Shailesh Reddy presided over the program.
In his speech, KTR said the aim of T-SAT was to enlighten, educate and empower the people of Telangana state. T-SAT uses audio-visual, wireless and wire technology and satellite communication.
T-SAT provides quality coaching and advice to candidates seeking admission to professional courses. It also enables help to young youth to educate them with proper guidance, and the government departments train the personnel
