After a 4.4 magnitude earthquake had hit the Delhi-Haryana border early this morning, Tremors were felt in New Delhi and parts of National Capital Region (NCR).

The tremors lasted nearly for a minute and shook Delhi and neighboring Ghaziabad and Gurgaon around 4:30 am. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) states the epicenter of the earthquake is at the Delhi-Haryana border.

The US Geological Survey says it a shallow earthquake struck at a depth of 10 kilometers. There was no loss of property or life reportedly immediately.

Many citizens took made Twitter as a platform to talk about the tremors that rattled buildings which lasted nearly for a minute and woke them up from their sleep.
