Hyderabad: Veteran Telugu Actor and Film Maker K. Viswanath has recently got honored with the honorable Dada Saheb Phalke Award. On this note, the Telugu Film Industry decided to organize an event in Hyderabad JRC Convection Centre, to Felicitate the legend on 20th of this month. They named the event as Kala Karmikudiki Chitra Parisrama Pranamam.
On this note, all the 24 departments of the film industry are attending to congratulate him. In the recently conducted Film Chamber meeting, the director committee head Veera Shankar, Writers Association head Paruchuri Gopala Krishna, Producers council members attended and announced the details. This Film Industry Festival is going to take place on 20th of May. Dil Raju stated that Phalke Award winner Vishwanath is a big inspiration for the upcoming filmmakers.
87-year-old legendary filmmaker Kasinathuni Vishwanath is a well established Director, Screen Writer, Character Artist. He worked in all the Telugu, Hindi and Tamil Languages. He started his career in sound department in 1957 for Todi Kodallu and Banda Ramudu movies. Later he became assistant director for Iddaru Mitrulu Movie.
His directorial debut is with Aatma Gowrawam starring Late Akkineni Nageshwara Rao. He got awarded with so many honorable awards including an international honor. In 2016 he got awarded with Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his lifetime achievement in Cinema.
