Students No Need to Carry Loaded Bags to Schools

With an aim to reduce the amount of pressure on students, the Haryana Government has initiated a new scheme. From now, the students will get free from carrying loads of luggage on their back to school. As a pilot project, this scheme will be introduced in 50 schools across the state. This might get started from next academic session.

In a statement released, Additional Chief Secretary, School Education, PK Das shared that to make the education system stressless and joy for the children, we have initiated this environment.

This scheme also introduced into Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) schools. They asked the students not to carry school bags till class II and also restricted the number of books, suggested for the students of Class 1 to 8. This was formally declared by Minister of State for Human Resource Development Upendra Kushwaha at the Lok Sabha on Monday. He also stated that National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) are going to take special measures to reduce students burden and curriculum load.
