SRI VARI ANNUAL NAVARATRI BRAHMOTSAVAM

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam TTD has released the Sri Vari Annual NAVARATRI Brahmotsavam Schedule for this year in Tirumala .The nine-day auspicious festival starts from September 23 to October 01 2017.

Sri Venkateswara Swami Vari NAVARATRI Brahmostsavam was known as Srivari Brahmotsavam celebrated annually in Tirumala-Tirupati of Chittor District. This festival is celebrated in the name of “Lord Srinivasa.”

The nine-day NAVARATRI Brahmostsavam is one of the great festivals celebrated in Tirumala. Brahmotsavam is observed in memory of Lord Srinivasa’s self-manifestation day under the leadership of Brahma, the son of Vishnu.

The processional deity of Venkateswara Temple, Tirumala will be taken on nine different Vahanas during morning and evening on the 9-day festival on four made streets encircling the shrine tower. TTD has been busy in making the arrangements for the NAVARATRI Brahmotsavams as thousands of pilgrims will be in Tirumala for witnessing this eye feast.
