Scarlett Johansson pointed fingers at those who publicly supported the Times movement but were privately against it.
The actress said – “My mind baffles, How could a person publicly stand by an organization that helps to provide support for victims of sexual assault while privately praying on people who have no power?” She took a breath and said, “I want my pin back, by the way.”
According to sources, Franco was accused of sexual misconduct by five women. The actress did not directly claim James Franco, but her representative confirmed that she was talking about James. Johansson and Franco have not appeared together in any film.
When Franco was spotted wearing a Time’s Up pin at the Golden Globe awards, many women made sexual harassment allegations against him on Twitter. Franco said that he wore Time’s Up pin to support the movement.
After few days, Franco was accused that by taking the advantage of his power as a mentor, he sexually abused his students. Violet Paley also claims that she was forced into oral sex by Franco. Dylan Farrow accused Franco of sexually abusing her.
Franco completely denied all the allegations made by women on Twitter. He said to Colbert that he is responsible for the acts, which are solely done by him. He also said that the tweets on Twitter about him were completely false. He also added – “I completely support people coming out and being able to have a voice because they didn’t have a voice for so long. So I don’t want to shut them down in any way.”
According to sources, despite allegations against Franco, he is all set to attend the Screen Actors Guild Award, where he has been nominated for the best actor award.
