New Delhi: God of Indian Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar is undoubtedly one of the most loved batsmen in the team. After earning so many awards and records, he thought of making his life story into a movie. He is playing his role in the biopic. The first screening of Sachin: A Billion Dreams got held at Delhi for the audience full of staff from Indian Armed Forces.

After screening, the legendary cricketer stated that ever since he decided to do his biopic, he always thought of showing it first to our honorable Indian Armed Forces. He claimed that whenever he goes into the field to bat, he always thinks about three teams: one sting in the dressing room, one waiting for him in the home and the third was the billions of people. On this note, he thanked the Armed Forces who do so much for the country, and they are the real heroes.

Marshal B. S. Dhanoa, Air Chief who also attended the screening stated that the movie is excellent. He claimed that Sachin’s career is very inspiring to watch. He remembered that the film is set to release on May 26th, the same date they started the air operations during the Kargil War.

Sachin stated that the movie is all about the ups and downs, lows and highs in his career as well as personal life. The world’s best batsman after retirement wanted to start his second innings and do whatever that gives him satisfaction.

Tendulkar said that it is always to have expectations because it would be meaningless for him to go into the field and no one from the stands is expecting anything from him. Emotions play a bigger part in his life story which he is showcasing in the film.

In a recent interview, he stated that he used to be very mischievous as a kid and some part of it also got shown in the movie. He said that even though the thought of doing the movie came into their minds, it took two and half years to complete because it’s not only the 24 years of his working career the movie is about but also from the age of 5 when he first started playing with the ball.

The film will not show the designed sets because almost all the scenes got shot at Sachin’s old house, the playground he grew up in, the first ball he ever played with, etc. Directed by James Erskine, the movie shows how a young boy became a cricket legend.

As the film is gearing up to hit the silver screen on May 26th, Sachin compared the emotions running in his head with the feeling he gets when he goes into the pitch to bat.
