Reliance team is now concentrating on their JioFibre market. To test the services, they are launching them first in only three cities including Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, and Ahmedabad. The broadband services of JioFibre will be way cheaper than other broadband networks. Jio, the telecom which made all the telco operators to cut down their data and call charges might now reduce the broadband prices too.
The customer care of Reliance Jio in the official twitter account posted that they are holding the trial of their FTTH (Fiber-To-The-Home) services in the cities Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Delhi-NCR, Jamnagar, Surat as a reply to a query. The announcement came in September month of last year itself. Though they haven’t mentioned the names, the team stated that they are trying to expand their services in other cities gradually.
One of the users from Mumbai claimed that Jio gives up to 70 Mbps to 100 Mbps speed on 1 Gbps connection. Pune too recorded the rate of 743.28 Mbps. The Jio broadband services are free for the first 90 days if the users pay a one-time refundable Rs. 4000 – Rs. 4500 for their JioFiber routers.
Ambani in last September claimed that they are planning to launch their services in up to 100 cities of India. JioFibre users can get 100 GB free data per month and also a complimentary 5 GB storage in the cloud.
