To all the Pubg players, there’s a good news! Pubg has announced its ‘Lite’ version that works on low-end devices. The difference between Pubg Mobile and Pubg Lite version is that the latter can accommodate a maximum number of forty players instead of hundred players in the standard version.
Pubg or Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds is an online multiplayer game developed by Pubg Corporation in 2017. This game was released for Microsoft Windows on December 20th, 2017. By 2018, it was released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox as well. With over 400 million players, this game is one of the best sellers worldwide.
The new Lite version is for the players who cannot get access to the basic game because of their device limitations. The developers have promised to give quality life-like features and exclusive content for Pubg Lite. Pubg Lite is free for lifetime, unlike the classic version.
Currently, Pubg Lite features only Erangel, original map and players would be playing in Duo or Solo or Squad mode. As the basic version is available on Xbox, mobile and PlayStation 4, the new version would give a chance to more number of players to try the ‘battle royale title’.
Don’t worry about the minimal features of the Pubg Lite because eventually additional maps and game modes would be added and upgraded. The main aim of designing this Lite version was to ensure that people with low cost mobile could also have an access to this game. The size of the original version is 1.6 GB, whereas the size of the lite version is 30 MB. It requires lower RAM and it is built on Unreal Engine 4. This game will run on any android version above 4.0.3.
