Everyone are well aware of the incident of a politician misbehaving with an airline employee recently. The well-known politician assaulted a staff member in the airplane allegedly with his slippers. The 60-year old staff member filed a case against that politician. As the video of the political hitting, the staffer is circling on the internet, so many Airlines banned that politician from their services. So the politician with no choice started traveling in the train from then.
On this note, Aviation Historian P. Anuradha Reddy says that whether it is a common man or a politician they all are passengers and they must follow the rules strictly once they board the plane. She claimed that even if it is a Parliament official or any other higher range politician, he is not different from other people on board.
However, the ban on Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad was lifted as he had written an apology letter to that staffer for his misbehavior. When talking with IANS, Reddy states that this incident should be an eye-opener for all the politicians out there. She said that the law-makers should be well aware not to disturb the duty of the professional organization and should always behave properly with the members.
Anuradha Reddy who is the author of the book Aviation in the Hyderabad Dominos accused that people who are on board don’t realize that including pilot and co-pilot every staff members are responsible for their safe and secure flight journey. She appreciated Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapati Raju for supporting Air India by saying that Air India has got a good Chairman and Managing Director.
She blamed the current Indian society condition is all because of the politicians like him and claimed that the Air India is trying hard to get the position it was once on the Aviation Platform.
