Pirates of Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales Story Review:
Armando Salazar played by Javier Bardem is an old nemesis. He along with his Spanish Navy, the ghost crew which escaped the Devil’s Triangle plans to kill every pirate at sea. To reach their goal, they pursue Captain Jack Sparrow (Johny Depp). Jack’s friends Henry and Carina aids him, and they turn to seek Trident of Poseidon, the most powerful artifact which grants total control over the sea. The rest of the story follows how Jack with his new allies use the Trident of Poseidon to defeat Salazar and his Navy.
Johny Depp mesmerizes the audience with his amazing acting skills. Jack’s feelings when he was finding his way of luck when the deadly ghost sailors led by Salazar and when escaping from Devil’s Triangle is extraordinary. His only survival hope lies with the Trident of Poseidon but finding it is no easy task. Kaya Scodelario played a brilliant as well as a beautiful astronomer, Carina Smyth in this movie. Her acting skills are uniquely excellent. Brenton Thwaites played as Henry, a headstrong and straight forwarded young sailor. All the actors did their best performances.
The action elements are notable but not breathtaking. The comedy worked out in some scenes but not in all. The action sequences are executed very well then the funny scene. Some dialogues are just annoying and make the audience fall asleep. Though we cannot it is great we can say that the movie is adventurous and is a good attempt. The chemistry between the leads is not that much attractive.
- Action scenes
- No humor
- Average screenplay
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is less bloated, interesting and exciting as well as a worth watching movie. The cast is the biggest asset to the film. The series itself is a big blockbuster, and this fifth installment is no less than its predecessors. However, it is still unknown whether this would be the last installment or not. The movie is both exhausting and thrilling at the same time.
The movie justifies its caption that Dead Men Tell No Tales. Fans of the Pirates of Caribbean series will enjoy the film.
