The current level of international product prices of petrol and diesel and Rupee-US Dollar exchange rate warrant decrease in selling price of petrol and diesel, the impact of which is being passed on to the consumers with this price revision,” IOC said in a statement.

Except on April 16th rising trends of petrol and diesel have been observed from March till July.  IOC also added that international oil market and Rupee-USD exchange rate would be monitored closely, and the trends will be reflected in the oil price changes in the market.
