Forget about water, land, wind and fire, there are other elements which has discovered on earth. The IUPAC (International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry) have announced the recently created New Elements on the Periodic Table. The seventh row of the Periodic table is completed with the latest discovered elements.

The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry have given the new addition of IUPAC Periodic Table 2016. Now the IUPAC has declared the New Elements on the Periodic Table with their respective atomic numbers 113, 115, 117 and 118. And the Periodic Table New Elements Names are known as Nihonium (NH), Moscovium (Mc), Tennessine (Ts) and Oganesson (Og).

All these four Newly New Elements on the Periodic Table are highly unstable superheavy metals and they can exist for a fraction of Second. They are formed by bombarding the heavy metal targets with the beams of ions.

There will be a general ending with ‘-ium’ for the elements belongs to the groups 1-16, ‘-ine’ for the elements which belongs to the group 17 and ‘-on’ for elements belong to the group 18. So now the time has come to rewrite the existing temporary elements of Periodic Table with the new element names.

Nihonium (NH-113), discovered at the RIKEN Nishina Center for Accelerator-Based Science in Japan. Nihon is a Japanese word which means ‘Land of Rising Sun’. The Nihonium is the first element which is discovered in an Asian Country.

The element Moscovium (Mc-115) is created by the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna which is near Moscow. Tennessine (Ts-117) element is also named after state Tennessine (in the US).

Oganesson (Og), with the atomic number 118, discovered by the group of teams at the Dubna and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (USA) and Joint Institute for Nuclear Research. The name of this element is kept for honouring the Scientist and recognises Professor Yuri Oganessian for his pioneering contributions.
