Tech Giant Oracle has brought its one of the most successful annual event Oracle OpenWorld to India. The two-day conference begins today in the national capital.
“With India emerging as a key epicenter of technology, Oracle is bringing its flagship conference, Oracle OpenWorld for the very first time to India in May 2017,” said an invite from the company.
The conference begins today with the keynote address of Oracle CEO Safra A. Catz. Safra brings business and technology strategist from India and the world which include Oracle Customers, analysts, partners, media and Government officials.
“You can expect insights on how Oracle is partnering with the public sector and enterprises to build India’s digital economy,” said Oracle.
CEO of Oracle Safra A. Catz will speak about “Investing in Our Future” which focuses on the importance of information and how digital economy revolves around the ability to access, share, manage, analyze, and secure information.
Thomas Kurian, President of product development, will address keynotes on the day two of Oracle OpenWorld India. Thomas will speak on how the company is serving fast track government initiatives like Smart Cities and Digital India.

Oracle is also organizing a full-fledged media program for the attending journalists. Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis is likely to join the inauguration of Oracle OpenWorld India along with some senior government officers. The conference will be formally inaugurated by Shailender Kumar, Vice President at Oracle India.
Yesterday, Jharkhand signed a MoU to use Oracle Cloud for e-governance and startups. Besides the senior executives from Oracle, CIO or technology heads of big Indian companies and experts from research firms are also likely to join the Oracle OpenWorld India 2017.
