Sunrisers Hyderabad has qualified for the next league off matches as they defeated Kings XI Punjab by 45 runs. Bairstow and other keys players from the team SRH has already left India as they are going to play matches for their respective countries. SRH played Kings XI at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Hyderabad. Pitch played a vital role in this match and it was batting friendly pitch. Ashwin, the Skipper of Kings XI Punjab won the toss and elected to bowl first. I think chasing was difficult for the Ashwin’s Men as they didn’t have Pinch hitters in their playing eleven.

Being asked to bat first, David Warner and Wriddhiman Saha kick started the innings well. As usual Warner continued his form as he does all the time. Pace attack from the Kings XI Punjab was not up to the mark. SRH capitalized their batting department during the powerplay as they could manage to pick up maximum number of runs in the first six overs. Manish Pandey again proved that he had lot of cricketing skills in him. His 36 run off 25 balls was crucial for their team. Mujeeb Ur Rahman was too expensive as he considered 66 runs in 4overs. Well Warner pulled off an absolute beauty of an innings of 81 runs off 56 balls.

Asking-rate was too high for Kings XI as they had to chase 212 runs. Lokesh Rahul started off very well. Gayle couldn’t perform to his potential as he kept showing his raw-talent in the previous matches. Since the batting department of Kings XI Punjab was not up to the mark last night. None of the batsman complimented Lokesh Rahul to take their team home. David Miller’s poor form continued again. At last Ravichandran’s men couldn’t take their team home. Now that Royal Challengers Bangalore are out of the tournament, Kings XI can make it to Top-4 if they work on their team composition and the playing eleven.
