Ola cabs have announced its partnership with Apollo Hospitals to create the comprehensive medical program for driver-partners. The drivers of Ola are equipped to provide medical assistance in the case of emergencies.

Free basic health check up will provide to drivers. Under this check up doctors will monitor blood pressure, body mass index (BMI), blood sugar, etc.

 Ola COO Pranay Jivrajka said” we would expect that over 5.5-lakh drivers across India are prepared to provide medical treatment in case of emergency,”

He also said Ola Cabs Drivers would get My Apollo card, through that they will get medical benefits while Apollo hospitals will entitle them to accident insurance at very low rates.

Hari Prasad, the president of Apollo hospitals said by this training program we can create safer on-road experience for drivers every day, at present this program has started in five cities like Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Chennai

Recently Uber has partnered with Apollo hospitals for the road safety. They are going to train drive partners in 29 cities across India, and it is equipped with 8000+ Uber with first aid medical kits.

This training session will give to drivers for better road experience. They will give training for drivers about handling traffic accidents. They will give some idea how to react when any danger comes to us. Both Ola and Uber are giving more priority for the customer safety. So they joined hands with Apollo hospitals for better safety. Traffic awareness and guidelines will be provided in this session.
