India’s most popular mobile app for transportation ‘Ola’ has announced the launch of one-way trip fares for Ola Outstation which is a smart mobility solution for the inter-city travel. Customers can avail the one-way bookings with reduced costs which bring more flexible, cost effectiveness of Ola Outstation, i.e., recently launched.
Ola Outstation is an option for the customers to book one-way trip instead of round trip and without paying for the round trip that they haven’t booked. The company claims that it makes its customers more travel economical, convenient and mostly safer with its newly launched next-level Outstation.
The CMO and Head of Categories of Ola, Raghuvesh Sarup, said, “Ola Outstation is a ‘made for India’ solution, bringing the unique Ola experience to inter-city travel, with the same level of convenience and reliability. With the start of ‘One-way’ trip fares, we are bringing increased affordability, from the responses of scale that our platform has built. This is yet another first of its kind innovation that is based on our understanding of the Indian consumer.”
He further added, “Connecting over 500 cities across the country, and Ola Outstation is yet another step in keeping with our mission to build mobility for a billion Indians by providing locally relevant, smart and sustainable mobility solutions.”
These one-way trips have been already rolled out in cities
The company has announced that they set to grow substantially in other cities in the next two months. Along with this, through an advance booking service, commuters can pre-book the trip which is two days in advance.
How to book Ola Outstation ride?
- As of like booking process for Ola Micro or Ola Mini, the user has to select the ‘Ola Outstation’ option from the category list.
- Upon selecting from the list, the user has to enter the destination details like date and time on which he/she would avail the service.
- A user needs to book from packages and cab of their choice.
